Director of Client Partnerships
We are a leading motorsports media and marketing firm, and we're expanding! We've recently completed a capital raise, launched new products, and are adding new team members. We're looking for a highly motivated, persuasive, and financially-driven Director of Client Partnerships to help drive revenue growth and innovation across our media and marketing solutions.
As a Director of Client Partnerships, you will build strong relationships with motorsports and automotive brands, helping them leverage our digital, social, creator, studio, print, and agency offerings to connect with and inspire their target audiences. You'll manage the entire sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—while working closely with clients to understand their needs and create tailored solutions. A consultative sales approach and the ability to cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
Identify, qualify, and engage prospective advertisers and partners across multiple media platforms.
Develop a deep understanding of clients' business goals and effectively communicate the unique value of our services.
Create comprehensive, cross-platform media strategies that integrate digital presence, premium print content, and influencer-driven initiatives, delivering immersive, multi-touchpoint campaigns.
Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, consistently meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Collaborate with internal teams (editorial, content creators, production) to craft compelling presentations and proposals.
Stay informed about industry trends and competitive offerings to position our firm as a leader in motorsports media.
Utilize CRM tools to track account progress, forecast sales, and maintain strong client communication.
Represent the company at key industry events, trade shows, and meetings to build brand awareness and strengthen client relationships.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in advertising media sales.
5+ years of strategic media sales experience, with a proven track record in consultative sales. Familiarity with motorsports is a plus.
Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, especially executives and decision-makers.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex media solutions.
Experience with prospecting, cold calling, and managing a full sales cycle.
While we are based in Irvine, CA, we support remote work for both local and out-of-state employees.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the motorsports or automotive industry is preferred.
Strong business acumen and the ability to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
Analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data and use insights to drive sales strategies.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Creative problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to advocating for clients and creating unique media opportunities.

Compensation:
Compensation range: $115k-$135k annually, depending on location, experience, and skills.
Significant earning potential through performance-based commissions and bonuses, with the opportunity to earn an additional $43k annually by meeting expectations. Exceeding expectations offers uncapped earning potential.
