Location: Various locations across California The Event Planner/Coordinator is responsible for organizing and executing events that promote the organization's mission, engage stakeholders, and generate funding. This role involves managing event logistics, budgets, and marketing. Key Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate events such as fundraisers, workshops, and community programs. Develop event budgets and ensure cost efficiency. Identify and book venues, vendors, and other resources. Promote events through marketing campaigns and social media. Oversee event registration, attendance, and feedback collection. Coordinate event-day operations, including setup and breakdown. Maintain records of events and prepare reports on their success. Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure smooth execution. Requirements Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning or coordination. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in event planning software and tools. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
