Pactiv Evergreen invites you to shape your future at our Conyers, GA location. Our team is searching for skilled specialists ready to steer activities in our grinding room. Your expertise in operating grinders and department equipment, including forklifts, is pivotal to our success.

What You'll Master:

• Ensure grinder safety by inspecting wheels for cracks and confirming equipment is in prime condition.
• Keep materials untainted by accurately identifying and avoiding cross-contamination during regrinding.
• Organize production data through detailed end-of-shift reports, monitoring crew and machine activity efficiently.
• Proactively inspect for product defects and initiate machine adjustments to uphold quality standards.
• Expertly move materials to strategic locations with forklifts, ensuring proper use of equipment.
• Utilize core problem-solving skills to resolve operational issues independently.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks on grinders, such as replacing wheels and bits, to maintain workflow.

Your Qualifications:

• Possess at least a year in a fast-paced production setting with mechanical system insights.
• Forklift operation certification and preferred prior experience in logistics using lift trucks.
• Proven mechanical acumen and the ability to solve problems swiftly alongside excellent communication skills.
• Capability to handle the rigors of a fast-paced environment, remaining on feet throughout the shift.
