We are looking for a Logistics Specialist who will perform the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies, and mail throughout the facility.. How you will make a difference : Primary responsibilities are making and arranging shipments and filling orders Physically pick, pack, and label items for shipment with high degree of accuracy Unpack and verify goods and receive against purchase orders, RMA's, or invoices of goods & communicate any non-conformances Prepare and maintain records of cycle counting, receiving, RMA's, and shipments including data entry Examine, stock, and distribute materials to inventory locations and to technicians' bins Perform periodic cycle counts and variance reconciliation including data entry Stock newly received materials and parts into inventory locations per FIFO rules Physically pick, pack, and label items for shipment with high degree of accuracy Prepare products to initialize export process Perform final preparation of products and prepare the sales process for delivery to customer Some front desk duties, including checking in customers or vendors Other duties or projects as assigned This position requires: Must have completed high school Entry level experience as a shipping clerk, logistics specialist, material handler, similar role Must be able to efficiently and accurately perform data entry and pay attention to details Entry level computer skills and basic ability with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required Ability utilize ERP/MRP is required Must consistently communicate in effective and proactive manner with colleagues Experience with securely packing goods for shipments Demonstrate strong work habits of cooperation, time management, and ability to multitask Must be flexible and be able to consistently adapt to changing priorities to meet deadlines Demonstrate reliable attendance and dependability Must perform basic math and record keeping daily Must be able to read and follow operational and safety procedures in English WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift 20 kgs. regularly and 20+ kgs. on occasion Some overtime may be requested due to increased customer needs Duties routinely require standing, walking, and pushing / hand carts This position resides in a warehouse and office setting with fluctuating temperatures What FARO can offer you: FARO has excellent benefits for you and your family.
