Massage Therapist - Hospice at Interim HealthCare of the Twin Cities summary:

A Hospice Massage Therapist provides comfort touch massage therapy to patients in hospice and palliative care, working according to physician orders and interdisciplinary plans. The role involves patient evaluation, service documentation, and delivering care primarily in patients' homes with flexible scheduling. This position requires massage therapy certification, experience, CPR certification, and the ability to travel within the service area.

Some functions of what you would do as a Hospice Massage Therapist

• Conduct initial evaluation, assessing & identifying patient’s needs.
• Provides comfort touch massage therapy services to patients in accordance with physician’s orders and the interdisciplinary group (IDG) plan of care with a focus on a hospice and palliative care approach.
• Completes and submits accurate and timely documentation of massage therapy services provided.

A few must-haves for this position: 

• Successful completion of post secondary course of study from an accredited/licensed school for Massage Therapy
• One year of Massage Therapy experience required.
• Hospice massage therapy experience preferred.
• Able to travel within a geographic area serviced by office. Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance required.
• CPR Certification required.
