Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse Technician with 5-7 years of combined experience in material handling equipment (MHE) maintenance, repair, and warehouse/service management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing MHE, overseeing warehouse operations, and managing the refurbishment processes for off-lease equipment. This role requires an individual who is proactive, highly organized, and able to manage both technical and logistical functions seamlessly.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and repair of MHE, ensuring equipment is in optimal working condition.
  • Lead the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and equipment.
  • Assess MHE equipment for remarketing opportunities, including evaluating its condition, performing inspections, and determining necessary repairs.
  • Coordinate regional MHE rental efforts, including inventory tracking, allocation, and rental scheduling to ensure customer needs are met efficiently.
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections, diagnose issues, and lead repair efforts to maintain equipment functionality and longevity.
  • Develop and implement warehouse operational procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe, efficient, and productive environment.
  • Oversee logistics and ensure proper documentation for all incoming and outgoing materials and equipment.
  • Maintain strong communication with customers, internal teams, and vendors to ensure high levels of service and operational excellence.
  • Train and mentor warehouse staff, including technicians, and promote a culture of teamwork, quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Job Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in material handling equipment (MHE) maintenance and repair, as well as warehouse/service management.
  • Proven expertise in managing both the technical and logistical aspects of MHE, including assessments for remarketing off-lease equipment.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Hands-on experience with the repair, maintenance, and operational management of MHE.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to assess equipment condition, troubleshoot issues, and implement repairs or coordinate with service providers.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal teams and external customers/vendors.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices within warehouse and equipment environments.
  • Travel up to 20%.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
