Job Details The ATP Pharmacy Technician is responsible for monitoring, filling and organizing the medication dispensing of our automated machines. They will also support inventory activities. As well, this person will be held to a high standard of accountability to guarantee the accuracy of the patient's ExactPacks. This Pharmacy Technician will be expected to personify our Core Values each day and be committed to deliver on our Patient Promise. Responsibilities Process correct bags through the automated machines. Maintain a high level of quality assurance for medication dispensing. Responsible for stocking received pharmacy inventory. Organization of medication shelves and maintain cleanliness of work station. Ensure station is properly stocked at all times. Monitor station queues. Accountable for meeting daily pharmacy goals to make certain timely delivery to patients. Demonstrates superior written and verbal skills to communicate with internal counterparts to resolve patient issues. Exhibits the Core Values in their daily work to deliver on our Patient Promise. Other duties as assigned. Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong prioritization and organizational skills. Ability to use multiple software programs to fulfill medication orders. Maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Passion to help people and enrich their lives. Ability to stand without assistance for an entire shift is required. Requirements Must be 18+ years of age. High school diploma /GED required. If no prior pharmacy experience, must be committed to registering with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy and obtaining a pharmacy certification within one year of employment. Prior pharmacy technician experience specifically with medication inventory, preferred. Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board and registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy, preferred.
