Summary

JOB SUMMARY:

 

Provides first line assistant supervisory capabilities within the Security/Courier Services Department to meet and achieve organizational goals and departmental objectives. In the absence of the Shift Captain, serves as the supervisor of the shift.

• Submits accurate written reports and documents findings of investigations.
• Greets and provides assistance to patients, visitors, and employees at entrances and exits.
• Provides effective leadership and guidance for Security Department personnel

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; 3+ years of experience preferred.
• IAHSS Supervisor Certification is preferred or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
• American Heart Association CPR Certification is preferred or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months or hire.
• Maryland State Security Officer Certification is preferred or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
